Things To Do In The Borough Of Bromley

Welcome back. In the first part of this short series about “Things To Do in Bromley” we looked at High Elms Country Park, Christmas Tree Farm, Churchill Theatre, The Glades Bromley shopping centre and Operation Escape. Now we’ll continue with other things to do and places to visit in Bromley.

  • Church House Gardens
Church House Garden Lodge, Church Road, Bromley BR2 0ENHere is a review about Church House Gardens, “Church House Gardens has a newly enlarged play area for the little or not so little ones. It is one of the best, and least busy of such play areas I know of. Extensive sand pits, cool slides and all manner of things to climb.” They went on to say, “For me it is a place to wander through after shopping with my teenaged daughter. The are beautifully landscaped walks through mature trees. There is a lake as well as a canal side walk. It adjoins a nearby wilder and more natural park in Shortlands and is a useful shortcut to parking areas.”

The new cafe’s are Wagamama, Bryon, Giraffe, Ed’s Easy Diner and newcomer Project Pie.” They continue by saying, “This place is ideal for wedding photos after a civil ceremony in Bromley Registry Office, but beware, I have heard a roamer that alcohol is banned and you might fall foul of some jumped up minor autocrat, and that would be a total waste of good champagne.”
