Fine Dining Restaurants in Bromley Part 1

Looking For Somewhere Special To Eat in Bromley?

You have a special day coming up, a birthday, anniversary, or you just want to take that special person out to dinner and show them how much they mean to you. So you probably don’t want to go to the local Harvester or  McDonalds, somewhere with more class and style, where the food is exceptional. The following is a list of the best fine dining restaurants in Bromley, according to Trip Advisor.

Chapter One
Farnborough Common, Locksbottom, Kent, Orpington BR6 8NF
Style of Food: French, European, British
Website: https://www.chapteronerestaurant.co.uk

If you fancy something other than Indian, then maybe Chapter One is the restaurant for you. This review comes is by Susan from Croydon, where she booked a surprise 80th birthday meal for her mum. This is what Susan had to say about her experience:

A surprise meal for my mums 80th & with 30 people in the private room upstairs. From the start the staff were so helpful, helping me decorate the room, giving an excellent waiter service to all of my guests. The food was amazing and everyone gave their full praises. I would definitely recommend for a special occasion as it’s not cheap but you do get what you pay for. Definitely a night to remember especially for my mum, who was so overwhelmed.

Cinnamon Culture
46 Plaistow Lane, Bromley BR1 3PA
Website: http://www.cinnamonculture.com
Style of Food: Indian, Asian, Vegetarian Friendly

The following review is by CPilch, from Bromley. This is what they have to say about the Cinnamon Culture restaurant:

Not Your Average Indian Restaurant! We have been to this restaurant a number of times and it never disappoints. There were 8 of us having dinner last night and we all had a different main course and every single one was superb. The restaurant is beautifully decorated and very elegant. There’s a separate area for pre-dinner drinks. The service has always been good and our waitress last night (whose name I forgot to ask) was the best.

Indian Essence
176-178 Petts Wood Road, Petts Wood, Orpington BR5 1LG
Website: http://www.indianessence.co.uk
Style of Food: Indian, Asian, Vegetarian Friendly

The Indian Essence is not exactly in the heart of Bromley, but instead in Petts Wood. Which is technically in the Borough of Bromley. Rachel from Kent, gives her view following a visit to the Indian Essence for Sunday lunch:

After visiting Benares a number of times we were given a Virgin Experience voucher for lunch. We visited on a Saturday and it was really quiet. The service was friendly and efficient and there was plenty to choose from for the lunch menu. I had the calamari and my husband had the trio of chicken. For main we both had the lamb which was lovely and tender and we enjoyed the dosa and accompaniments. For desert we had kulfi and chocolate fondant. Benares will always be a favourite but this could be somewhere we start to visit more regularly! Good food and good value for money.

Tamasha
131 Widmore Road, Bromley BR1 3AX
Style of Food:  Asian, Vegetarian Friendly
Website:

This review comes from Fifi of London:

O dear, well the food is fabulous, sometimes the staff do look a little unhappy at times, it’s way to expensive and what ever you do, do not stay in the hotel. Our room had a hole in the wall. I do love the food though.

Blend Bar & Grill
32 East Street, Bromley BR1 1QU
Style of Food:  Bar, British, Pub
Website: http://www.blendbargrill.com

Steve from London, gives his view on his experience at the Blend Bar & Grill. Look at this site:

Not bad. Came here for dinner with my girlfriend and friends. I had the steak with sweet potatoes fries and a sauce. I asked for the steak to be medium but got it well done. Admittedly I didn’t complain as it still tasted good. My friends weren’t overly impressed by what they ate. Prices were ok and the night we went it was 50% off steaks. Overall it was ok.
