Google released Penguin 3.0, the latest version of its spam filter algorithm, on Friday. Penguin 3.0 is aimed at spammy websites, especially those who are violating Google’s linking guidelines. This is the sixth update to Penguin since its launch in April 24 2012, and I am sure there will be many more to come.

What has Penguin 3.0 Affected?
It appears that the Penguin 3 update seems to be targeting links from:
- Web 2.0’s (especially non-niche specific)
- Spam links (as posted from SENuke, Magic Submitter, GSA and other automatic link creating software)
