YouTube One Channel uniform roll-out on June 5
Over the last few months, there has been a lot of talk about the new YouTube One Channel. The aim of the new layout change is to create a consistent look your your YouTube channel across desk top and lap top computer, mobile phones and tablet devices.
Allison Bransfield, Product Specialist at YouTube, says that those who do not opt for it by June 5 will be automatically and permanently ushered into the new design.
YouTube One Channel Explained
1) Design New Channel Art:
Create a stunning image that will act as your channel’s visual identity, and scales perfectly for every screen and device. Click here to download a template.
2) Create a Subscribe Trailer:
One Channel lets users create a trailer for their channel. This trailer will play for any visitor who isn’t a subscriber yet. Users can consider it as an opportunity to get a visitor hooked to their channel and eventually turn them into subscribers. YouTube suggests users should “treat this trailer as if it were an ad.”
3) Take The Plunge:
Go to the Official YouTube One Channel Site, and scroll down to the bottom of the page to switch over.
4) Organize Your Playlists:
YouTube One Channel lets you divide your playlists into customizable sections and arrange your videos however you want. You can control exactly what your viewers see when they visit your channel.
5) Promote Associated Channels:
